About Finland Eye Center
Finland Eye Center is a group of four eye clinics in Muscat, Sohar, Salalah and Nizwa, founded in Muscat in 2007 and providing comprehensive eye care across the Sultanate of Oman.
Since 2007 our clinics have treated more than 300,000 patients. Our services range from eye examinations, prescription glasses and contact lenses to cataract surgery with a choice of lens implants, glaucoma treatment and surgery, retinal and diabetic eye care, keratoconus and corneal treatment, children's eye care and squint surgery, eyelid surgery, dry eye treatment and laser vision correction.
At Finland Eye Center, we bring together experienced ophthalmologists and modern equipment so that every patient gets a clear diagnosis and a treatment plan explained in plain language.

Diagnostic and Surgical Technology
Our clinics use modern diagnostic and surgical equipment across eye care, from retinal imaging to the lasers used in cataract and refractive surgery.
OCT scanning
Cross-sectional images of the retina and optic nerve, used to detect and follow diabetic eye disease, macular conditions and glaucoma.
Visual field testing and retinal photography
Visual field tests track glaucoma over time; retinal photographs record the back of the eye at diabetic screening visits.
Pentacam corneal tomography
Maps the shape and thickness of the cornea to diagnose and monitor keratoconus and to check suitability before laser vision correction.
Laser platforms
WaveLight® EX500 Excimer Laser and Ziemer FEMTO LDV Z8: excimer and femtosecond lasers used in laser vision correction and some corneal and cataract steps.
